Small Business Marketing Solution is a London, Ontario-based marketing consulting company that helps its clients build, implement and sustain successful marketing solutions. Our focus is on small businesses and entrepreneurs and the unique obstacles and challenges that they face. Since 2002, we have developed and implemented marketing strategies and tactics that small businesses and entrepreneurs require to grow profitably. SBMS founder and principal, Jorge Velez , specializes in the exceptional circumstances that small businesses and startup operations face such as limited capital, lack of marketing expertise, no time for planning and limited resources. Clients served represent a variety of industries including manufacturing, financial services, retail, renovation and computer training services. Background Bio
Jorge Velez graduated in 1987 with his BA in Economics from the University of Cartagena, Colombia. In 1995, Jorge obtained his specialization in Marketing from the ICESI University in Colombia, and in 2004, he graduated with an MSc in Marketing and Consumer Studies from the University of Guelph, Ontario. Jorge has over 15 years of sales and marketing experience, including working as a District and Regional Manager, and a Corporate Sales & Marketing Manager in a variety of industries. Jorge's specialty is designing marketing strategies, doing market research, and writing business and marketing plans. He gets great satisfaction from participating in marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and increase sales among current clients.

Experiencia
Jorge Velez se graduó en Economía en la Universidad de Cartagena, Colombia en 1987. En 1995, Jorge obtuvo su especialización en Mercadeo en la Universidad ICESI en Cali, Colombia, y en el 2004, obtuvo una maestría en Mercadeo y Estudios del Consumidor en la Universidad de Guelph, Ontario. Jorge tiene más de 15 años de experiencia en ventas y mercadeo, desempeñándose como Gerente Nacional de Ventas y Mercadeo, Gerente Distrital de Ventas y Gerente Regional de Ventas en varias industrias. La especialidad de Jorge es desarrollar estrategias de mercadeo, hacer investigaciones de mercado y escribir planes de negocios y de mercadeo. Jorge disfruta con gran satisfacción el desarrollo de estrategias de promoción para atraer nuevos clientes e incrementas las ventas con los clientes actuales.
